- D-Quote - Allows our customers an additional 9+ minutes to enter/change closing auction orders. D-Quote cutoff time is 3:59:50PM vs. off floor MOC/LOC cutoff at 3:50:00PM. In many cases Exchange fees are lower than off floor MOC orders.
- Parity - A distinct advantage in obtaining executions in liquid issues. Floor Brokers are allocated a parity slice of each execution as opposed to the time priority execution for orders not using the floor. Even if you are the last order to join the bid/offer, you may still get executions.
- Trading Costs - Separate pricing schedule allows us to cut expenses, and attempt make trading / execution fees cheaper for our customers.

Throughout his career as a Specialist / DMM, Frank was tasked with generating P&L, trading for the firm's proprietary accounts, both manually and electronically. Adapting to the changing marketplace became a necessity. In his former roles at GTS, Frank worked with a team of developers to create automated "market making" strategies that generated alpha while fulfilling regulatory obligations. Our brokers average over 15 years experience. When we are executing an order, we know what to look for!
AUCTION TRADES
As a Specialists/DMMs, we traded IPOs, secondary offerings, and closes with our own P&L on the line, a stark difference from executing a customer order. The skills learned while trading as principal can be useful insight while executing as an agent for our clients.
